What you will do
- Ship production code from your first weeks, with review and support around you.
- Work across services, tooling and interfaces as the work requires.
- Write tests and instrumentation as a matter of course.
- Ask early, read the code before asking, and write down what you learn.
- Take on more scope as you earn it, which here is measured in months rather than years.
What you need
- A strong foundation in programming and computer science, from a degree, self-teaching or work.
- Evidence you build things: projects, contributions or internships.
- Clear written communication and the confidence to say when you are stuck.
- Genuine interest in systems, hardware or machine learning.
Useful, not required
- Internship or placement experience.
- Open source contributions.
- Familiarity with Linux, C++, Rust or Python at depth.
