For engineers who would rather own a problem than a layer. You will move between the serving path, the control plane, the tooling and the hardware interface, wherever the work is most useful that quarter.
For engineers who would rather own a problem than a layer. You will move between the serving path, the control plane, the tooling and the hardware interface, wherever the work is most useful that quarter.
What you will do
- Take a problem from ambiguous to shipped, choosing the layer it should be solved at.
- Move across the stack: services, interfaces, data paths and the systems underneath.
- Build tooling that removes work for everyone else.
- Read unfamiliar code quickly and change it safely.
- Own what you ship, including when it pages someone.
What you need
- Three years or more of production software engineering.
- Fluency in at least one systems language and one high-level language.
- Evidence of range: you have worked meaningfully at more than one layer.
- Comfort with ambiguity and with deciding rather than waiting.
Useful, not required
- Infrastructure, Linux or distributed systems background.
- Open source contributions.
- Experience at a small company where the boundaries were yours to draw.
What we offer
- One of the first deep tech companies in the region, building foundational technology in house.
- Meaningful ownership and impact at an early stage.
- Competitive early-stage compensation.
- Close collaboration with a small, senior team.
- Problems that combine hardware, systems and AI at scale.
